This study is part of a larger collaborative effort primarily based at Columbia University, in collaboration with African institutions—among demographers, climate scientists, and remote sensing experts—to examine the relationships between disease and climate, and associated intervening factors, in Africa. We are presently working in Mali and Kenya. Today’s presentation, which is based on our study in Kenya, is also collaborative with colleagues at the WHO and Berkeley.
